North Bay Aviation is an approved FAA/EASA part 145 repair station which specializes in bench level component repair services for aircraft Instrument Classes 1,2,3 & 4 as well as Accessories Classes 2 & 3. Individuals will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft components in order to certify that the component is ready for return to service in accordance with industry regulations.
Daily use of industry standard and specialized test equipment will be available for the purpose of aiding in the testing, troubleshooting and repairing of electrical/mechanical components, circuits, and electronic devices.
Soldering skills are required for the removal and replacement of electrical wiring and electronic devices associated with component level repairs.
All maintenance will be documented for work performed actions by completing technical documentation and records in accordance with industry regulations.
Must maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations and codes.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities to include but not limited to the studying of technical publications and aircraft electronics system advances.
