NorthStar Aviation Services is a General Aviation Repair Facility located in (((Lake Havasu City AZ))). Our facility specializes in Beechcraft King Airs. We are seeking to fill several job openings for the position of IA/A&P or A&P Mechanic.

The successful candidate will service, repair, and maintain our aircraft to ensure airworthiness.

- Familiarity of Beechcraft King Air airframe is preferable

-Familiarity of PT6’s is preferable

Responsibilities:

-Inspects, repairs, and maintains aircraft assembles including engines, wings, fuselage, tail, landing gear, control cables, propeller and fuel system using specialized tools to repair or replace components

-Consults manufacturers’ manuals and aircraft maintenance manuals for specifications to determine the extent of repair or replacement according to malfunction

-Inspects engines for defects and corrects any problems according to the specifications of the MFG Maintenance Manual

-Replaces or repairs worn or damaged components

-Performs engine changes

-Airframe and Powerplant License or Airframe certified

-Must have five years or more experience with General Aviation Aircraft

-Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

-Team-oriented

-Highly organized and thorough in performing duties and completing paperwork

-Able to read and understand technical publications

-Knowledge of MSDS precautions

-Ability to work any shift sometimes including nights and weekends
