The Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) site in Rocket Center designs develops and manufactures tactical rocket motors medium caliber ammunition composite components and end items and fuze and electronics equipment. For decades the dedicated and highly skilled team at ABL have supported national security efforts by developing and building defense systems for DoD customers and U.S. allies.Position Summary:Monitors Supplier processes and performance to ensure mission success.Evaluates and assures supplier quality risk management safety reliability and maintainability of program achievements in accordance with contractual requirements.Assesses supplier performance and risks and determines methodology to ensure mission assurance.This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications Level 2: BS in Engineering or related STEM degree such as Physics Math or Materials ScienceTwo (2) or more years of related work experienceBasic Qualifications Level 3:BS in Engineering or related STEM degree such as Physics Math or Materials ScienceFive (5) or more years of related work experienceAdditional Qualifications:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.Basic knowledge and understanding of Process Failure Modes Effects AnalysisAble to travel a significant percentage of time (40-50%)Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditionsExcellent collaboration skills in team environmentAbility to negotiate and integrate different viewpointsAble to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project resultAble to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goalsAbility to make decisions that positively impact the organizations credibility operations and servicesAble to prepare and analyze data and figuresAbility to identify sequence of operations or action to be takenCandidates should have demonstrated competencies in the following: Customer Focus Resiliency Drives Results and Drives EngagementPreferred Qualifications:Prefer candidates with an Engineering degree Previous experience as a Quality EngineerPrevious experience having responsibility and oversight of multiple products and/or processesKnowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standardsExperience working with suppliers in an aerospace or automotive environmentWhat to Expect:If you are a dynamic and motivated professional Northrop Grumman is the company that will help further your experience and career growth.
