Description, duties, responsibilities

The GBSD Reliability Availability Maintainability Analyst is responsible for executing the Weapon System Reliability Availability and Maintainability Analysis scope of work in support of Weapon System Capability assessments and ultimate verification of RAM requirements. The RAM Analyst reports to the RAM Analysis Lead and is an extended part of the WS RAM Thread team. The RAM team collaborates with the Segment IPT design team to assess the detailed design and consults on design approaches that will enable the development of a compliant Weapon System. This will include working on technical teams in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelors of Science Degree OR higher in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Computer or Chemical Engineering Applied Physics or closely related technical discipline 5 years of experience with a BS Degree or 3 years of experience with a Masters in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Computer or Chemical Engineering Applied Physics or closely related technical discipline Experience with hardware and/or software reliability and failure analysis of aerospace or military products Familiarity with Systems Engineering products and the inclusion of reliability and failure analysis in the design processes Active Secret clearance with investigation in the last 6 years Preferred Qualifications: Masters or PhD is preferred. 3 years or more of experience with hardware and/or software reliability and failure analysis of missile systems In-depth knowledge and application of Systems Engineering products and the inclusion of reliability and failure analysis in the design processes Experience leading technical teams in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment Practical working experience supporting Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and products Strong written and verbal communication skills of the English language is desired Active Top Secret clearance is preferredSalary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum QualificationMechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering.
