Position Summary
As the Crew Planner you will impact PSA Airlines flight operations through responsibility to schedule PSA Airlines routes. A Crew Planner ensures that all flights are effectively using crew members within FARs labor work rules and company policies which will help to maintain safe conditions and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
• Track crewmember seniority domiciles and vacation changes.
• Network with Training department and Inflight to project training qualification dates.
• Work closely with Human Resources for crewmember leave and termination status updates.
• Build future crewmember schedules for better utilization and efficiency in hotel transportation and per diem costs.
• Construct monthly lines of flying for crewmembers bidding purposes that comply with FAR and contractual requirements.
• Supply software files for the monthly Schedules to the Manager of Dispatch.
• Assist in the monthly crewmember bid and award process including union coordination distribution and web site updates.
• Assist in the management of scheduled crew hotels.
• Develop research schedules to react to various proposed operational changes.
• Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Qualifications
Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience in either future forecasting data analysis or a related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software; specifically formulas and page links within Excel
• Must be able to read write and speak English
• If hired must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
Preferred
• Associates degree
• Previous experience in aviation industry
• Previous expeirence in Crew Scheduling/Planning
• Previous expeirence in Sabre tracking systems and S3RUS software
