Quality Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect product at various stages of production process
  • Process compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
  • Interpret engineering drawings schematic diagrams or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
  • Review Spec Sheets to determine if the product is meeting the customer specifications
  • Ensure proper documentation on all customer returns through final disposition
  • Complete receiving inspection
  • Conduct Quality Tests as required
  • Work with plant personnel to prevent rejects from reoccurring
  • Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by supervisor and or manager
  • Continuous learning and willingness to seek personal growth
  • Demonstrate attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
  • Knowledge and application of SPC is a plus
  • Good PC data entry and ability to work in spreadsheets
  • Possess a positive can-do attitude demonstrating a proactive instead of reactive approach
  • Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth
  • Ability to stoop bend and twist repetitively
  • Ability to lift to and including 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand on feet 8 hours per day
