The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Maritime Systems Program Manager to ensure achievement of the value streams strategic objectives and customer commitments. Maritime Systems holds a strong position in the growing market for domestic and international torpedoes. This position will support domestic and international torpedo systems programs.Primary Responsibilities:+ Meeting financial goals in support of the program/value streams Annual Operating Plan (AOP)+ Managing program execution ongoing review of program metrics and development and execution of corrective action plans to mitigate impact of internal and external issues+ Meeting all customer requirements and expectations+ Managing program risks and opportunities to meet program goals+ Building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders+ Support to capture manager activities for business development opportunities+ Leadership of complex teams with some matrixed responsibilities+ Have accountability for performance of the assigned value stream+ Decision making for the IPTs and applies critical thinking where incomplete data existsBasic Qualifications:+ Must be a U.S. Citizen+ Position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
