Role Overview:
This position is for an individual who can share their experience in workmanship and quality throughout Mission Systems in the role of a Trainer. Works as an individual contributor to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on area of responsibility. May manage training related processes and/or projects. Uses experience and knowledge to influence processes standards and plans to continuously improve quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver training for Manufacturing and Quality personnel
Maintain course materials
Schedule and coordinate training
Update and maintain training records as required
Generate training reports
Recommend opportunities to improve course materials based upon quality issues experienced in the organization
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
In the absence of a degree 9 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
5-years of experience in a Class III Electronics Assembly Environment
2-years of experience in PCB Assembly SMT and Through hole
Experience delivering training Practical and Theoretical
Experience in PCB rework SMT and Through hole
Ability to earn IPC certification(s)
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with soldering tools including: hot tweezers hot air reflow preheater for component assembly and removal
Familiarity with electronic assembly standards
Ability to teach complex concepts and course materials
Capacity to connect students with course materials
Capable of delivering of One-on-One Coaching
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to multiple sites
10-years of experience in a Class III Electronics Assembly
5-years of experience delivering training in an electronics assembly environment
Experience in a heavily regulated operations environment
Current IPC certification(s)
Knowledge of electronics assembly standards
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Practices
Knowledge and Experience in Mechanical Assembly including: lock wire torque tools and application use of gauges and measurement devices
