Manages cell productivity and guides scheduling sequencing of work and production innovation to optimize production. Plans designs and executes activities that are directly related to the physical creation of RTX products and the functional operation of RTX facilities. Contains professional and para-professional disciplines.Primary Responsibilities:Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.Directs scheduling to meet production schedules.Sets the sequencing of work such as build and delivery to optimize productivity.Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity.Directs production innovation including additive manufacturing to enhance production capabilities.Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.Responsible for a major portion of processing operations in a plant.Oversees production operations (shop floor management workforce management and flow disruption management) maintenance plant engineering scheduling and personnel.Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results.Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.Explains policies practices and procedures and may influence others.May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials (capital assets).Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience ORAdvanced Degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience ORIn the absence of a degree 9 years of relevant experience is Required.Ability to obtain a Security Clearance from the United States GovernmentMust be a US CitizenPreferred Qualifications: Prior Manufacturing Leadership and/or Manufacturing Related SupportFamiliarity and Experience with ACE and Lean MethodologyPrior SAP Experience and ProficiencyPrior experience leading or working with manufacturing employees covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement Collins Aerospace a Raytheon Technologies company is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
