Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position will be a key member of our Aftermarket team and will work on various projects designed to grow our aftermarket business. This highly visible position will have direct interaction with our customers to include distributors and airlines.ResponsibilitiesThe Aftermarket Engineer is responsible for supporting the Aftermarket Services organization in a variety of engineering tasks including but not limited to the following: Design and layout of new products (Solidworks) Reverse engineering of aerospace components Failure analysis and component improvement investigations Preparing FAA approval packages Development of production and repair routings Definition and oversight materials analysis (outside support) Direct discussions/collaborations with airlines and MRO customersLeadership Competencies Action Oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency high energy and enthusiasm Drives Results: Consistently achieving results even under tough circumstances Resourcefulness: Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Courage: Stepping up to address difficult issues saying what needs to be said
