About Client
We are seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant certification to join our team in Wichita KS. This role focuses on performing structural repairs and modifications for piston-powered aircraft including Cessna Piper Beechcraft and other general aviation platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $25 - $33 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary
The A&P Mechanic - Aircraft Structures will be responsible for structural inspections repairs modifications and fabrication on piston-powered aircraft. The role requires expertise in sheet metal composites and riveted structures ensuring compliance with FAA standards while supporting operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural repairs modifications and fabrication on airframes in compliance with FAA and OEM specifications.
- Inspect repair and replace aircraft sheet metal composites and structural components.
- Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and documented per FAA regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to maintain quality standards and operational timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid FAA A&P Certificate required.
- 2+ years of experience with aircraft structural work preferably on piston aircraft (Cessna Piper Beechcraft etc.).
- Proficient in sheet metal fabrication riveting and composite repairs.
- Ability to interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
