Job DescriptionAircraft Logs and Records SpecialistKingsville TXAs the Aircraft Logs and Records Specialist for Rolls-Royce you will be tasked with the administrative responsibility for maintaining and updating aircraft engine module and accessory log cards and records. You will screen incoming records for accuracy required inspections and maintenance; consolidate and re-create records as necessary providing data and reporting to support input to the NALDA (Naval Aviation Logistics Data Analysis System) through DECKETR (Engine Transaction Report).At Rolls-Royce we pioneer the power that matters to our customers to society and to the planet.Were the second largest global provider of defence aero-engine products and services globally with 16000 engines in the service of 160 customers in 100 countries. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability veteran status or any other protected characteristicKey Accountabilities: Maintaining and updating aircraft engine module and accessory log cards and recordsManagement of engine logs and records to ensure necessary inspections component life tracking and configuration management of engines and components are maintained according to customer established requirements in the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series Adour F405-RR-401 configuration management planPerform closeout of log books upon completion of maintenance transactionsData entry into the NALCOMIS or equivalent system and ETS (Engine Tracking System)Additional duties include data reporting as may be required for effective production or scheduling; technical directive scheduling tracking and materials orderingShort term travel and shiftBasic Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in administering aircraft/engine related logs and recordsMust be U.S. Citizen to be considered for this rolePreferred Requirements:Access Database experienceFamiliarity with the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 NAVAIRINST 13700.15Must have a strong working knowledge of NALCOMISMust be proficient in MS Word Excel AccessKnowledge of NALCOMIS/OIMA and familiarization with ad hoc reporting within NALCOMISWorking knowledge of SAPPioneer an enduring legacy.
