STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Configuration Management Analysts in Miramar Florida. JobSummary The Aircraft Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining the aircraft mask and logical subgroups in the Spirit Electronic Tracking System (SETS including TRAX). EducationalBackground/Experience Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years experience (indicate specific field if required). Bachelor s degree preferred. Must have a High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to quickly analyze and improve line maintenance workflow and synchronization. Working knowledge and understanding of Airbus AMM and AIPC. Working knowledge and understanding of component maintenance manuals. Attention to details with preferred experience in auditing. Understanding and knowledge how to read FAA airworthiness directives. Computer skills Knowledge of Excel Word Outlook knowledge using Trax a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of aircraft components and life limited parts a plus / Airbus MPD. Knowledge of certification documents such as FAA 8130 and EASA Form 1 a plus. Contract term will be 6 months AdditionalCompetencies Familiarity with MS Office suite (EXCEL Word Powerpoint) Good written and verbal communication skills Experience with Illustrated Parts Catalog technical data and Aircraft/ Component Maintenance Manuals Able to multi-task and coordinate with multiple MX stations systematically to synchronize for commonality. Able to communicate effectively with other departments on the station overall capacity and capabilities. Identify routing constraints and the affects/impact it has on our maintenance network. Ability to independently generate presentations regarding maintenance station performance status and present them to senior management GeneralResponsibilities Analyze and oversee the aircraft configuration program to ensure currency with all mandated requirements. Assist with Aircraft or Assembly Induction activities. Analyze and review configurations to minimize costs while maintaining configuration control and compliance to aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) requirements. Maintain aircraft mask to ensure improvement on maintenance efficiency and component tracking. Maintain and fulfill the Part Number Form (PNXF) requests in TRAX and update related Forms. Approve component/part interchangeability and effectiveness to assure compliance with type certificate. Conduct system audits to ensure compliance to configuration requirements. Analyze and support aircraft configuration management optimization. Ensure projects are on track and provide regular updates on commitments made to customers. Stay informed on all issues/projects related to aircraft configuration management. Support Supervisor of Configuration Management as needed. Analyze and support development of configuration changes for new fleet inductions. Coordinate requests from Production Engineering and other groups for configuration change. Conduct all necessary component research to ensure accurate and timely configuration updates. Complete other related duties as assigned. Show moreShow less
