Description, duties, responsibilities
We are currently hiring Wire Harness Assemblers and Avionics Technicians to join our Saxon Field Teams.
As an Avionics Technician/Wire Harness Assembler you will prepare cut join and assemble wire harnesses and cable harnesses.

Avionics Technician/Wire Harness Assembler job duties:
- Read and interpret schematics blueprints work instructions and other technical documentation.
- Use crimpers wire cutters(both manual and automatic) and soldering tools.
- Use hand tools power tools and measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Fabricate and assemble wire and cable harnesses to build finished products.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques.
- Electrical wiring and soldering
Preferred education and experience:
- 5+ years avionics or wire harness assembly experience
- 5+ years aerospace defense communications or aviation experience
- IPC certification or additional technical education a plus
Working conditions:
- Standing pushing pulling bending and lifting
- Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
- Standing for 10-12 hour shifts
