Job Title: Engine Technician – Business Aviation (Bombardier Aircraft)

Location: Wichita, Kansas (Mid-Continent Airport – ICT)

Industry: Aerospace / Business Aviation

Overview:
Join a leading team supporting world-class business aviation programs in Wichita, KS. This role focuses on the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft engines on Bombardier Global and Challenger aircraft, offering the opportunity to work in a high-performance corporate jet environment. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring engine performance, safety, and reliability on some of the most advanced aircraft in business aviation.

  • Adhere to general work requirements
  • Inspect engines and/or APUs, components and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervision
  • Assist with installation, removal or modifications and repairs of turbine engines, APUs and airframe systems or components
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Assist with engine/APUs and related systems operational checks and functional tests
  • Assist with performing complete engine runs
  • Assist with off-aircraft component repair
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Operate ground support equipment
  • Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participatein5-S activities.
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Basic PC skills

Qualifications

  • You must have FAA Powerplant License
  • 5 years of experience working as Engine Technician, Powerplant Technician or relevant experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Aircraft Mechanic experience, engine experience
  • Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
