Description, duties, responsibilities
Risk Management Specialist performs on-site inspection/training visits to branded dealers.
Provides technical advice and training to customers to ensure customers are in compliance with required health and safety standards.
Provides aviation fuel quality control audits of aviation fuel storage and delivery facilities at branded FBOs, corporate flight departments, terminals, airport storage facilities and DLA supply and receiving points
Develops workable corrective action plans with customer management to resolve any audit discrepancies, obtains management signature on inspection document and follows up on open action plans
Provides classroom and hands-on training for customer personnel as part of inspection process. Resolves technical problems related to installations and maintenance of storage and fuel dispensing equipment
Reviews tank farm repair plans and new build quotations for customers and develops detailed response for the customer as needed
Visits common carriers in the assigned territory. Develops relationships with carrier safety managers, driver trainers and dispatchers.
Reviews carrier compliance with required driver training, discusses service issues and reviews release certificates
Bachelors degree (B. A.) desirable, from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two or more years of experience related to performing quality control audits of fuel storage and delivery preferred.
Understanding of all applicable laws, regulations and rules relating to aircraft fueling, fuel storage and fuel delivery.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel spreadsheets and Power Point.
Valid drivers license required
