SkyWest will accept helo/glider time as part of an applicants total time as long as they have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed wing.</p><p><strong>Canadian Clearance</strong></p><p>Must possess and/or obtain and maintain a current passport (and applicable Visa if necessary) with the ability to travel in/out of the U.S. Canada Mexico and Bahamas without restriction.</p><p>Please note that some past criminal convictions including DUIs may prohibit travelers from gaining Canadian clearance without a Temporary Resident Permit or Criminal Rehabilitation. Applicants must verify their ability to travel in and out of Canada unrestricted.</p><p><strong>Reserve for Flight Jobs</strong></p><p>Initially most pilot new hires can expect to be placed on reserve depending on the needs of individual domiciles. In some cases time spent on reserve can be substantial for flight jobs. Ready reserves are also used and most likely utilized at domiciles or hubs. Regular reserve policy requires a two-hour call out.
