Position OverviewProvide support to The United States Coast Guard (USCG) CG-AIRs (to include the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC) and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG-AIR-E)).ResponsibilitiesServe as POC on training training record and administration questions IAW ALCINST 5224.4Draft present and update training materials records and guidanceDevelop and maintain training databases and records for all ALC employees (military civil service and contractors)Provide updated training records to Workforce Management Staff (WMS)Review training records to determine personnel qualifications and currency IAW ALCINST 5224.4Assist WMS with onboarding new employees by coordinating training data and qualification coursesMonitor training requirements; notify personnel 60 days before any certification licensing or training expirationSchedule classroom training courses; confirm computer-based training is accessible during normal working hoursFacilitate and present course material on general ALC and USCG topics when a presenter is unavailableMaintain records for pilots aircrews and employees including maintenance qualificationsSchedule all training requirements IAW Commandant and ALCINSTs including COMDTINST M3710.1Assist UTO in managing and resolving customer complaintsConduct annual review of legal requirements to keep training curriculum currentReview and recommend updates to ALCINSTs syllabi and standardization check forms IAW Commandant and ALC policiesMinimum QualificationsU.S. CitizenRead write speak and comprehend EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of basic arithmeticKnowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlinesAbility to work with minimal Government oversightStrong public speaking skills with ability to present to large groupsAbility to create formal documents and reportsDesired QualificationsExperience supporting training programs1 year experience in USCG proceduresProficiency in ALMISProficiency in AMMISBenefitsMedical dental and vision coverageLife insuranceShort term/long term disability coverageRetirement savings – 401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Holiday leaveAlternate work schedules (depending on work site)Flexible spending account optionsApplicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.STI-TEC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
