Event Drone Pilot (PT)

Spurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E) is seeking an Event Drone Pilot to manage event security staff and operate drones at Frost Bank Center Toyota Field and surrounding grounds.

SS&E operates the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) Austin Spurs (NBA G?League) San Antonio FC (USL) and manages day?to?day operations of Frost Bank Center Toyota Field and STAR Complex.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest safety and security issues with professionalism.
• Handle emergency and non?emergency calls and document incidents accurately.
• Model SS&E values as a role model on and off the field.
• Prioritize workload demonstrate flexible time management.
• Communicate plans and information effectively.
• Resolve issues involving staff patrons and drones.
• Work independently and in teams while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
• Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107; SS&E supplies all required equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by Security Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in security field.
• State Security license (or ability to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  
• Knowledge of alarms CCTV and security control systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online cloud tools.
• Availability for long hours flexible schedule including evenings weekends overnight and holidays.
• Compliance with minimum attendance policy.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods in extreme conditions.
• Meet dress standards and ability to work outdoors in hot cold wet or windy conditions.
