Job Description
As a first-line professional manager of professional positions in a complex work area oversees and manages the Michigan Department of Transportations (MDOT) Office of Aeronautics Finance and Operations Unit which includes the following functions:

1. Overseeing the budgetary planning execution and monitoring for the Office of Aeronautics.
2. Directing the Office of Aeronautics Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant and supporting staff.
3. Directing the Office of Aeronautics contracting procurement and purchasing in consultation with the Bureau of Finance and Administration.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.

Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
