This position performs the duties and responsibilities of FAA Assistant Chief Flight Instructor as required by FAA Regulations Part 141; assists Chief Flight Instructor in administration of Flight Education; supervises Flight Instructors; develops and monitors flight safety programs; provides flight and classroom instruction; conducts stage checks progress checks and final flight tests; provides Flight Instructor initial and annual standardization of oral and practical checks; assures instruction quality and student progress/completion including exams and check-rides; provides flight and classroom instruction; coordinates and schedules personnel and aircraft; Additional Information: This position must be on call for emergencies for all operational hours of the Flight School; will have alternating schedule with other Assistant Chief and Chief Flight Instructors.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in aviation or an equivalent combination of education and experience; meets qualifications for FAA Part 141 Assistant Chief Flight Instructor; instructional activity within the previous 24 months; experience with a flight school certified through 14 FR Part 141.
