As the Technical Support Manager you will manage a highly technical multi-site team that provides in depth technical support on large complex networks primarily in the area of Satellite telecommunications with our Australian Tier 1 customers. You have a track record of building and developing teams developing support processes budgets process improvement implementation and stellar customer communication and management. You will have managed Emergency Support teams and recovered networks in real time. You will develop processes and track key metrics for network and support performance and provide analysis and management of the critical activities and events on the network and produce high level reports for both internal and external customers. You will provide management and mentoring to members of the support team.
+ 5+ years of technical support management experience with Tier 1 telco and commercial customers managing the support of large complex networks
+ Proficiency in Salesforce Trouble Ticket management network performance analysis workforce and cost analysis
+ Technical background in Networking Wireless or cloud computing
+ Experience in managing Tier 1 Telco and commercial customer relationships
+ Strong communicator able to work effectively with the multi-discipline ViaSat teams
+ Establishment and management of project financials
+ Exceptional customer relationship skills
+ Excellent teamwork skills
+ Excellent organisational skills
+ Bachelor of Engineering MBA or equivalent experience
+ Australian Resident
+ Satellite experience is greatly valued
+ Experience in working for a multi-national
