Avionics Technician

Job Summary: Installation, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and avionics systems using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service.

Job Duties:

  • Installs, tests, troubleshoots and/or performs needed repairs to aircraft Avionics systems using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service
  • Perform functional checks on installed systems
  • Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of avionics work
  • Accurate completion of required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
  • Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
  • Participates in on call program and all training required to be part of the program
  • Responsible for documenting OJT in training syllabus
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Corporate Aviation experience is considered a plus
  • Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
  • Ability to read, understand and apply procedures from aircraft technical manuals
  • Willingness to regularly exceed customer expectations
