Job Summary

The Lead Cabin Services oversees and participates in the cleaning and sanitization of aircraft interiors ensuring compliance with airline and safety regulations. This role involves coordinating a team assigning tasks conducting quality inspections and maintaining efficiency in turnaround times. Strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU) a labor union that requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with the cleaning of aircraft cabins including seats tray tables lavatories and galleys.
• Ensure compliance with airline standards safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Assign tasks to cabin cleaning agents and monitor performance to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before aircraft departure.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and airline representatives regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.

• Prior experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or a related field preferred.
• HS Diploma GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at let 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
• Ability to read write fluently speak and understand the English language
• Strong leadership communication and organization; ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Experience in supervising cleaning crews.
• Familiarity with airline cleaning standards and procedures.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stand for long periods bend kneel and work in confined spaces.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and airport environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines.
• May require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
