Main Tasks:

Support continuous improvements in a variety of manufacturing processes.
Hands-on support of production technicians and production processes.
Support establishment of a lean organization on-site.
Define manufacturing working instructions for composite structures and optimize existing processes
Establish standard work and line balancing to increase productivity.
Manage projects within the organization to support future state goals.
Define manufacturing jigs and tools support procurement.
Simulate and plan production processes and capacities.
Work with international colleagues in Switzerland to evaluate improve and transfer current state processes to the US.
Assist in conforming Swiss processes to US norms and standards.
Define establish and track KPIs in serial production phase.
Support and define engineering processes.
Participates in change process and implements process and design changes.
All other duties as necessary to achieve company goals

Requirements:
B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical discipline

Must demonstrate previous hands on experience in a manufacturing setting. (8+ yrs)
Demonstrates knowledge of quality and safety standards including OSHA standards ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Office required


Preferred skills:
Previous experience with SAP
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience
Previous composite non-metallic or carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) is preferred
Ability to work autonomously or in a team prioritize requirements and work in a goals oriented manner;
Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 15%
