The Boeing Company is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Interior Integration Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating the certification and delivery readiness of the Boeing 787 aircraft. This position requires a proactive individual who can work cross-functionally to address and resolve complex issues while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and systems engineering, to facilitate the certification and delivery readiness of the 787 aircraft.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to oversee and coordinate design and manufacturing processes across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Apply engineering judgment to identify, analyze, and resolve design and integration challenges, particularly in electrical and systems engineering domains.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong soft skills to foster teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Influence issue resolution with a sense of urgency, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of design, manufacturing, electrical, and systems engineering processes to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts.
  • Document and report on project progress, challenges, and resolutions to management and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 9 or more years related work experience or an
    equivalent combination of technical
    education and experience.

  • Proven experience in design and manufacturing within the aerospace industry, with a focus on electrical and systems engineering.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Boeing 787 or similar aircraft programs.
  • Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

Senior Level: $113,050 - $152,950
