Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Supply Logistics Representative to assist with our VC25A efforts at Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), Maryland.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the supply chain management and logistics operations stand-up efforts at a new remote work site. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, managing inventory, coordinating distribution, and identifying potential gaps in support operations. You will work closely with the Warehouse Lead LSR and the Logistics Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of all logistics activities.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers’ unique requirements. 

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

The selected candidate will provide direct support and services to our customer within a field environment. Such direct support is primarily provided at non-Boeing facilities, e.g., customer bases/sites, other contractor facilities, remote operating locations, or a combination of field locations. Specific contract requirements will govern the type, extent, and criteria for the support and/or services to be provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides supply support sustainment services at customer or field locations.

  • Monitors logistic systems performance.

  • Conducts research and provides logistical assistance to support operational objectives.

  • Maintains effective customer relations.

  • Assists with researching, identifying, and resolving customer supply support system inventory discrepancies.

  • Investigates demand management, replenishment, and electronic data systems.

  • Collaborates with company organizations to identify and resolve inventory issues.

  • Collects supply data and evaluates supply system procedures.

  • Coordinates and documents the movement of components through the repair cycle.

  • Manages field office resources and maintains company presence.

  • Prepares required company reports.

  • Cross utilization duties include insuring inventory parts availability, reviewing stock quantities, packaging and shipping, forklift movement of large aircraft parts and engines, and handling of HAZMAT materials.

  • Inventory control is managed through a database requiring competent computing skills and knowledge.

This position requires a Yankee White security investigation. This involves background checks into your financial, criminal, mental, job history, drug/substance usage, membership in groups, and traffic records. Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military and/or commercial aircraft maintenance, logistics, and/or supply chain support concepts

  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

  • Forklift experience is required.

  • Ability to lift 35lbs without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active/Current Top Secret and/or SSBI U.S. Security Clearance is a PLUS; Please list on your resume for consideration.

  • Experience supporting Special Air Mission (SAM) or Very Important Person (VIP) aircraft, is desired.
