The Boeing Company is looking for a B-1 AISF (Avionics Integration Support Facility) Lab Engineering Manager to join Boeing in Oklahoma City, OK at Tinker AFB.  In joining this team, you will be part of an outstanding team of engineers and managers supporting the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS & B) portfolios. Ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for engineering excellence and employee development, ability to collaborate across many different internal and external organizations and thrive in a dynamic environment.

This position is primarily 1st shift; alternate or extended shifts may be required to support test program objectives.  Occasional travel is required for this position.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead engineers and technicians performing lab design engineering, lab build, and test execution supporting B-1 program updates

  • Collaborate with multiple organizations to continuously improve design and build quality approaches and processes

  • Manage, develop, and motivate team members

  • Assess and lead resolution of issues impacting program progress, including root cause corrective action to prevent recurrence

  • Utilize operational skills to raise team performance and meet cost, schedule and quality commitments

  • Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, earned value metrics and performance measures

  • Build relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, suppliers, direct reports and other stakeholders

  • Provide guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering job classification

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

  • 3+ years of experience building strong business partner relationships

  • Experience leading people in a technical environment as a team lead or manager

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with lab test operations, design engineering, lab build, and test execution

  • Experience leading or managing Military test programs
