Role Purpose
The GSE Driver/Operator supports the Denver Frontier operation by safely operating ground service equipment such as stair trucks and AviRamps ensuring efficient aircraft servicing and alignment with all Menzies and airport safety standards. When stair or AviRamp operations are not required this position assists ramp teams with general ground handling tasks providing full operational flexibility across the flight schedule.
What you will be doing
+ Operate Ground Service Equipment (GSE): Safely operate stair trucks AviRamps and other assigned equipment in compliance with company and airport regulations including conducting pre- and post-use inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
+ Aircraft Servicing and Safety Procedures: Position and secure stair units and AviRamps to aircraft ensuring proper alignment and stability; verify cabin door alignment; place and remove safety cones as part of aircraft arrival and departure protocols.
+ Team Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with Loadmasters Customer Service Agents and Ramp teams to ensure safe timely and coordinated aircraft turns including connecting equipment only after clearance.
+ Ramp Operations Support: Assist with additional ramp duties when not operating stair or AviRamp equipment such as baggage handling chocking and marshalling.
+ Compliance and Professionalism: Adhere to all safety standards airport driving policies and training requirements while maintaining professionalism and situational awareness on the airside.
What we are looking for
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Possess and maintain valid US drivers license
+ No active airport operations driving infractions within the past 12 months
+ Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen FBI background and employment history.
+ Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
+ Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
+ Prior experience operating trucks or ground service equipment preferred but not required (training provided)
