About the Role


As the Program Coordinator, you won’t just manage operations—you’ll set the standard for excellence. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for education into one high-impact position. You’ll oversee faculty and staff, manage the curriculum, and ensure our students receive top-tier instruction aligned with FAA and industry standards.

:hammer_and_wrench: Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program
  • Supervise faculty and staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Collaborate with education directors to develop and maintain curriculum and course materials
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OSHA, Department of Education, and accrediting bodies
  • Monitor student academic progress and support those at risk through advising and mentorship
  • Maintain and manage classroom tools, equipment, and training aids
  • Serve as a substitute instructor when needed and support hands-on learning initiatives
  • Conduct faculty evaluations and facilitate regular staff meetings
  • Track student records and manage compliance documentation through CampusNexus

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on aviation maintenance experience
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with administrative responsibilities
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented educational setting
  • Exceptional communication, mentoring, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CampusNexus experience a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally
