Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (AP Mechanic)

Job Overview:
The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems and components to ensure they are safe and airworthy. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and conducting repairs on aircraft as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various aircraft systems (engines, airframe, avionics, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure safety and functionality

  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and make necessary adjustments

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks

  • Assist in aircraft overhaul and modifications

  • Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Work Environment:

  • Primarily based in hangars, aircraft maintenance shops, or on the tarmac
