Skyway Aviation Services Inc. is a fast-growing FAA Part 135-certified charter operator based in Tampa, FL. We operate a dynamic and diverse fleet of light and midsize jets and are committed to the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism. As our operation grows, we are seeking experienced and motivated A&P Mechanics to support our fleet during evening and weekend hours.

Position Summary:
We are hiring an A&P Mechanic to support Day, Night and Weekend maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced charter environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of turbine and piston aircraft

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical discrepancies

• Document all work performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Support AOG events as needed

• Coordinate with flight operations and lead mechanics to ensure aircraft readiness

Requirements:

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (Part 135 experience a plus)

• Familiarity with Citation, Learjet, and Cirrus aircraft preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions
