The Boeing Phantom Works team is currently seeking a Senior Mission Systems Integration Engineer to work in Berkeley, MO.

Who We Are: Our Phantom Works team develops and integrates advanced, innovative Mission Systems components and technologies into functioning demonstration and test systems. This selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development and integration of Mission Systems for near-term risk reduction demonstration testing and incorporation onto future customer platforms.

Phantom Works is a fast-paced environment where communication and organization are crucial. The successful candidate must be able to communicate and collaborate with multiple teams at multiple sites.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead work with customers and suppliers to develop system-level Mission Systems requirements

  • Lead development and validation of requirements for Mission Systems components

  • Lead and coordinate work to analyze and translate requirements into system architectures, interface specifications, and hardware and software designs

  • Lead development of trade studies and other forms of analysis to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around complex requirements

  • Lead development and execution of tests to validate performance of designs to requirements

  • Manage appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure requirements compliance

  • Support development of work statements, budgets, schedules, and other required program management inputs

  • Support formal customer reviews

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 14+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education

  • 10+ years of experience developing and integrating avionics and/or Mission Systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplined teams

  • Experience developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation

  • Experience with requirements development and management

  • Experience with multi-level Security Networks

  • Experience with multi-level Security Embedded Systems
