The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Application Governance & Technology Enablement Senior Manager to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.

We are seeking a dynamic, people-focused Senior Manager to lead Application Governance & Technology Enablement across the Enterprise. This role combines strategic leadership and cross-functional engagement to operationalize and improve inventory and management of our application assets via ESATS, and technology standards with governance via SaTRN and the technology standards boards. The ideal candidate has experience with governance frameworks and risk controls, architecture, communication with executive stakeholders, experience with corporate audit, demonstrated ability to lead teams, and ability to work across a specialized communities of stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development and delivery of the enterprise application inventory and governance program: capability delivery, governance operating model, policies, standards, roadmaps, and metrics

  • Build, grow, and enable the application focal communities and governance councils; define roles, responsibilities, and operating processes for focal and owners

  • Serve as primary engagement lead for application governance initiatives with business and technology stakeholders; translate business needs into governance requirements and delivery plans

  • Collaborate with the next gen ServiceNow program, Security, Data Governance, Legal, Privacy, Corporate Audit, and Analytics teams to improve governance controls and ensure compliance

  • Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team focused on engagement, architecture, software development, and governance delivery

  • Facilitate resolution of audit findings and emerging global compliance requirements

  • Oversee the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT & S) Architecture Review Board whose voting members consist of Lead Architects across IDT & S

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams in multiple locations

  • 5+ years of experience working with complex data and system architectures

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating and communicating work across multiple Information Technology functions

  • Ability to support global stakeholders and teammates

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Security, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with developing and managing governance frameworks

  • Experience leveraging AI technologies for governance and ML Ops

Summary pay range: $161,500 - $233,450
