The Boeing Company is looking to hire Equipment and Tool Engineers in Berkeley, MO.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Engineers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
  • Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for tooling.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
  • Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
  • Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
  • Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
  • Supports studies for disposition of assets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):         

  • Level 2 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (includes Manufacturing Engineering technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • Level 3 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (includes Manufacturing Engineering technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • Minimum 2 or more years’ of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or tool engineering discipline.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3 or more years’ of experience working in a Tool Engineering role and/or manufacturing environment
  • 2 or more years’ of CATIA/NX/CREO/SolidWorks or equivalent solid modeling experience.
  • Experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems.
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor.

  • Associate Level (2 or more years experience): $85,000 - $115,000
  • Mid Level (5 or more years experience): $103,700 - $140,300
