The Boeing Company’s Information Data Technology and Security (IDT & S) and Engineering & Product Support organization is currently seeking a Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our Maintenance Engineering Support team in Seal Beach, CA or Seattle, WA. 

Join our dynamic organization, where we collaborate closely with Boeing Commercial Services - Customer Support - to create and deliver essential technical manuals and content for airlines and maintenance engineering teams. In this impactful role, you will provide technical leadership to a talented team of business and technical developers, as well as subject matter experts, ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance engineering solutions for both commercial airlines and military-derivative customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs

• Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements

• Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications

• Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance

• Identifies and recommends improvements

• Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience with XPP Style and Format definitions

• 1+ years of experience with XPP Workflow processing definition (Perl)

• 1+ years of experience with Transformations definition (Perl, OMNIMARK, XSLT)

• Experience in XML, SGML and other structured data types

• Experience in PDF requirements for ATA, S1000D and MIL standards

• Experience with Change Page Management (Loose Leaf, LOEP generation)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with programming practices and languages like Java, JSP, LINUX, Perl, Python, Oracle/SQL, C/C++, CORBA, GIT, SGML, XML, INFOMAKER, etc.

• Experience with Unix command line and scripting

• Experience with DevSecOps

• Experience with GIT lab CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools

• Experience communicating with team members involved throughout the completion of projects

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $100,300 – $135,700

Summary pay range for Senior: $121,550 – $164,450
