Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level B) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
Position Responsibilities:
Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas
Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Follows safety procedures and regulations
Interprets basic schematics and diagrams
Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate, and repair equipment
Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
May provide guidance to less experienced employees
May receive specialized equipment training
Provides training for peers and customers on the general use of equipment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be willing and able to work a variable shift
1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
1+ years of experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel at a minimum)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
2+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience utilizing volt-ohm meters and electrical system drawings
2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with CNCs, lathes, and fabrication equipment

Shift
This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation is needed.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $59,000-$65,000
