Description: GAL Aero Staff seeks a Aircraft Painter.

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

NOTE Long term contract with per diem wages. Must be US Citizen to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES Aviation painters must have 3 years of recent exp, either aircraft or aerospace experience in prepping, painting, finishing, and coating. Must be familiar with safety regulations, masks during painting areas, and experience with spray gun, HVLP, manlifts, scissor lifts, boomlifts, manlifts, and forklifts etc. Familiar with chemicals and mixtures. Must know how to apply/ experienced in: etching, layout, schematics/ blueprinting reading, design, decals/ logos, and layering.

- Follow FAA Regulations and Documentations as needed

- Follow FAA and Facility Safety Protocols

- Examine function of aircraft skin and inspection before and after applications

- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.

- Prepare aircraft surface with solvents, cleaners, masking, sanding, taping, priming, etc.

- Prepare paint with experience in chemical mixtures, coating, etc.

- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.

- Collaborate with other aviation professionals, including pilots and avionics technicians

GAL Package includes:

+ $300 travel reimburse for qualified candidates
