Boeing is seeking a Mid Level Supplier Quality Engineer to work in Boeing Global Services located in Hazelwood, MO. This Supplier Quality Engineer will support BGS F-15 Sustainment Programs. Supplier Quality engineers support all phases of the development life-cycle for hardware including the supply base from inception to post-delivery.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

  • Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.

  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

  • Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

  • Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

  • Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of Quality experience

  • 5+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

  • 5+ years of experience working/partnering with engineers, product owners, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other technical degree

  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)

  • Experience with Early Quality Involvement (EQI)

Summary Pay Range: $100,300 - $135,700/Annually
