Overview
We are seeking an In-House Commercial and Business Attorney to support the company’s legal needs across commercial contracting corporate governance and strategic business initiatives. This role partners closely with business teams to provide practical solutions-oriented legal advice while helping the company manage risk and achieve its commercial objectives.
Main accountabilities include:
+ Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including customer vendor supplier licensing property and partnership agreements
+ Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders on day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives
+ Maintain strong ties with the Group Head of Legal and wider central legal function to build close day-to-day working relationships to ensure consistent legal advice governance and policy implementation across the group
+ Support mergers acquisitions joint ventures and other corporate transactions as required
+ Identify assess and mitigate legal and commercial risk across the organization
+ Advise on regulatory and compliance matters affecting the business
+ Collaborate with finance commercial HR operations and executive leadership teams
+ Manage relationships with and oversee external counsel when needed
+ Assist with dispute resolution and litigation management as applicable

+ Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
+ Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
+ Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
Qualifications and Experience
+ Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or relevant jurisdiction)
+ 3+ years of experience in commercial and business law (in-house experience strongly preferred)
+ Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements
+ Strong understanding of corporate law and business operations
Skills and Competencies
+ Business-minded practical approach to legal problem solving
+ Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills
+ Strong communication and relationship building abilities
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
+ High attention to detail with sound judgment
+ Interest in legal technologies and smart contracting processes
Qualifications
Experience
Required
+ Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or relevant jurisdiction)
