The Opportunity -

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is looking for a Training Scheduler Lead who will join the P-8A Poseidon Training team.  In this role you will program and coordinate all training activities for the P-8A Poseidon at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

As a Training Scheduler Lead within BDA, you will be:

  • Responsible for the support of scheduling and coordination of tasks regarding Fight Crew, Mission Crew and Maintenance training.  
  • Supporting the successful coordination of all training continuum course delivery, including synthetic training device booking.
  • Support programming of planned simulation device upgrade activities and asset allocation to meet training schedules.
  • Conduct training system health and utilisation analysis, and generate reports to support performance measurement frameworks.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Resource and asset scheduling and coordination experience
  • Experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons, or in a similar environment including the use of flight programming tools
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Configuration and data management experience
  • Understanding of Defence Training requirements
