Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS & B) is seeking Systems Integration, Verification & Validation Engineers in support of the Executive Transport Engineering Team in Oklahoma City, OK.

The successful candidates will be responsible for leading and executing emergent and specialty projects in support of design, modification, and delivery.  Projects include planning and implementing readiness activities in support of design maturity and factory execution such as flight test/mission assurance readiness reviews, technical design reviews, tabletop exercises, and resolving systemic issues involving heavy maintenance activities.  These positions will hold responsibility for partnering with Applicant FAA Certification Team to ensure execution is aligned with programmatic schedule and strategies.  They will also be responsible for deployment and standardization of On Time Delivery and Cost/Schedule Performance Tools across two Executive Fleet Programs.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

Associate (Level 2)

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Supports the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

Experienced (Level 3)

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Senior (Level 4)

  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 1+ years of related systems engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Experience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 2: 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 3: 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 4: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active security clearance.
  • Experience with Military or Commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or Systems.
  • Experience with delivery and certification processes, working with FAA regulations, and Regulatory Administration.
  • Experience of how to derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience working across multiple business units and/or complex organizations.
  • Experience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product lifecycle.
  • Experience communicating with senior leadership and program customers.

Summary pay range for Associate level (Level 2): $85,000 - $115,000

Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $104,550 - $141,450

Summary pay range for Senior level (Level 4): $127,500 - $172,500

Oklahoma Tax Credit:

If you have an engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Oklahoma and are not currently working in the aerospace sector in Oklahoma, you may qualify for a $5000 tax credit from the state of Oklahoma for up to five years.  Click here for more information on the tax credit.
