Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Projects Subcontract Integrator to join our team in Hertford, NC, supporting mission critical government programs.

This position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements.  It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance. The Experienced Subcontract Administrator will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to quickly and effectively address facilities and construction needs for a U.S. Government customer.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, self-directed role and deadline-driven environment. Experience implementing processes and/or strategy improvements will be a plus. Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Administer subcontracts from proposal support through closeout in compliance with FAR, company purchasing procedures, and CPSR requirements
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs), evaluate proposals, and document competitive decision rationale
  • Perform and document price and/or cost analysis
  • Support fact-finding and negotiations; prepare negotiation memoranda and price reasonableness determinations
  • Monitor subcontract funding, period of performance, deliverables, and invoice review coordination
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, Finance, and Legal to ensure subcontract compliance and proper system documentation
  • Support subcontract closeout activities
  • Serve as Team Lead and primary liaison between the Manager and onsite team, translating managerial direction into clear, actionable tasks and communicating team status, needs, and risks back to the Manager
  • Coordinate daily operations, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of priorities
  • Facilitate team communication, provide coaching and mentorship, and promote a collaborative, safety-focused environment

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years’ experience with contracting or subcontracting Government-related work
  • 4+ years’ experience with procurement activities
  • 3+ years’ experience with FAR and other Government agency specific regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate and serve as a liaison across onsite and corporate cross-functional teams to drive program objectives and deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience with contracting or subcontracting Government-related work
  • Experience in construction/services subcontracting
  • Price Analysis Methodologies experience
  • Experience with negotiating various contract types, including Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Firm-Fixed-Price Level-of-Effort (FFPLOE), Time and Materials (T & M), and Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQ) types
  • 2+ years’ experience in subcontract administration, specifically construction and projects
