Aircraft Painter Featured

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Sanding, stripping, masking, prepping aircraft surfaces for painting

• Mixing and applying primers, paints, and clear coats according to specs

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Using hand tools, spray guns, and paint equipment efficiently

• Ensuring work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards

• Collaborating with team members across departments to ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

• 2+ years of aircraft or 4+ automotive painting experience (aviation/aerospace preferred)

• Knowledge of proper sanding, masking, and finishing techniques

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and drawings

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with corporate aircraft is a plus but not required (Citation, Hawker, Beechjet, Phenom, etc.)

• Familiarity with FAA regulations related to aircraft finishes.
