Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an ExperiencedEngineering Technical Specialist (Level 3) in Berkeley, MO.

This position will support the Phantom Works Engineering Senior Executive Assistant develop, document, and implement processes and tools that will be used by the managers and leadership team members running the Phantom Works Engineering organization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
  • Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
  • Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
  • Supports the integration of data from various reporting systems for management visibility of status and ability to make business decisions
  • Develops, coordinates and assesses architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings
  • Develops executive level briefings. Leads the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events
  • Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedules and monitors and tracks execution of the project plan and communicates status.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.)
  • Proficient using standard Microsoft Office Suite of tools excel, PowerPoint, word
  • 3+ years of experience working with an engineering or business leadership team
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • 3+ years of experience effectively planning and maintaining schedules for projects in work and to be started with all relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience leading team efforts to develop and deploy broad organizational plans and strategies across geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience collaborating with executive and managerial leaders to develop meeting purpose and content
  • Experience using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that helps them understand and retain the message

Typical Education & Experience  

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).
