Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Shipside Operations Specialist (Level 2) to join our LSCC team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

The selected candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will support the production team in Final Assembly and Mid Body by providing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to positively affect the team’s efficiency in its delivery of product. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results

  • Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans.

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience

  • 1+ years of experience with the system Velocity

  • 1+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams

  • Experience conducting assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
