Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate or ExperiencedElectrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill AFB in UT.  Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our ICBM programs.  Our involvement is ongoing today and will continue into the distance future.  Come Join us in our legacy and continuing to support our national defense.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products

  • Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications

  • Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis

  • Performs test and integration of EE designs in a lab setting

  • Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements

  • Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope

  • Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product

  • Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • Associate Level 2: 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

  • Experienced: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience

  • Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience

  • Previous data encryption algorithm design experience

  • Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience

  • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business)

  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications
