The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) organization is looking for a B-52 Radar Modernization SEIT Manager to join the team in Oklahoma City, OK.
Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Interfaces and integrates with specialty engineering teams.
Manages teams deliverables and actions per team schedules and budgets.
Acquires resources for work statement execution.
Develops and executes integrated plans, policies, processes, and procedures.
Provides inputs to engineering technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in ABET accredited course of study in engineering or engineering technology
5+ years of experience working in a Systems Engineering
3+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
3+ years of experience working within a fast-paced team environment, requiring strong communication skills to frequently interact with leadership or internal and external customer representatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Leading teams responsible for verification and validation.
Experience with and knowledge of certification.
Experience with and knowledge of aircraft modification.
Experience with and knowledge of data analysis.
Experience with and knowledge of integration efforts.
EVM & CAM experience with schedule and budget management, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
