SUMMARY: Crew Coordinators report directly to the Director of Flight Following. Crew Coordinators are directly supervised by the on-shift Crew Coordinator Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform crew scheduling functions
- Work in conjunction with Flight Following and the on-shift Crew Coordinator Supervisor to be responsible for crew scheduling
- Responsible for any crew scheduling needs that Flight Following may have
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Maintain and update crew tracking and landing currency databases
- Track and update one-in-seven requirements
- Responsible for assigning crew rest requirements
- Perform scheduling and tracking functions
- Maintain and update current information on crew tags
- Maintain and update current information on:
- Long Board
- Shot Board
- Rest Board
- Sick Board
- UFN Board
- Coming On Board
- Availability Board
- Days Off Board
- Training Board
- Trip Board
- Maintain and update current information on the crew schedules
Responsible to actively participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and Safety Management System. Required to report all safety concerns in a timely manner. Required to ensure that they and their co-workers are performing their functions in the safest possible manner. Required to follow the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health organization with legal authority at the location at which they are working. Any concerns should be elevated to the Director of Flight Following.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Working knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements with regards to crew scheduling for operations conducted under FAR Part 121 and 135.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Fluent English is required, additional languages would be helpful.
Deviations to these qualification requirements may be approved by the Director of Flight Following if the individual can satisfactorily demonstrate their ability to perform the duties and responsibilities defined above.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

No licenses required.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and basic typing/computer skills are required.
