ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Global Tax Provision:
+ Prepare and/or review portions of the global income tax provision (including income tax provision for domestic and international entities);
+ Research analyze and compose technical memorandums on emerging legislative and tax policy developments complex international Federal and state income tax issues and/or exposure items (including ASC 740-10 for income taxes and ASC 450 analysis for non-income taxes);
+ Involved in other tax provision related tasks or projects as necessary.
+ US Tax Compliance:
+ Manage domestic income tax compliance: Federal state and local tax filings including sales and personal property tax returns
+ Prepare corporate tax provision and supporting schedules
+ Team with other departments to address tax issues
+ Assist in Payroll tax compliance
+ Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly state and foreign non‐income tax filings
+ Review/prepare provision to return deferred tax assets/liabilities reconciliation and current payable reconciliation for all US subsidiaries;
+ Assist with audits as necessary.
+ Tax Planning and other:
+ Provide tax advice and customer service to internal business partners by performing the research and analysis to answer their inquiries
+ Communicate to and teach internal business partners the key tax risks and/or benefits that impact their areas of responsibility
+ Special projects as assigned including but not limited to participation in the further automation of the tax planning compliance provision processes and projects relating to other business initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred
+ CPA
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate income tax experience
+ Experience with preparing corporate income tax provisions (ASC 740-10 ASC 718 and ASC 450)
+ Experience or familiarity with all types of taxation (payroll property VAT etc.) a plus
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to efficiently conduct tax research
+ Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word Excel Power Point etc)
+ Experience with Ramco and Adaptive Insights a plus
+ Public accounting experience preferred
